A new year, a new theme for notion

David Racicot knew he was in for an uphill battle when he opened his 38-seat restaurant notion in Oakmont a year ago this Saturday. In a region that prides itself on its sandwiches topped with french fries, “fine dining” can be a hard if not an out-and-out deal-breaker. All the more so if you have to cross a river to experience it.
